Day 114 ~ Wallpaper-a-day "Date Palm Panels"

Sue Williams of SW Design in Jamaica, West Indies, wanted a mural on silk for a client in the Tryall Club. With the humidity in Jamaica, we decided to create a silk finish with matalic paint & glaze. We painted these 9 foot tall panels with date palms and shipped them, but not before capturing the work for wallpaper reproduction.

Day 101 ~ Wallpaper-a-day "Maple"

Here is what happens when you capture an early spring photo of budding Maple leaves with a narrow depth of field and then turn it into a kaleidoscopic pattern. 50.5" x 33" repeat at 100% which makes the maple leaf 20" high (wide) at it's widest point. We prefer to print this pattern at 16%, which makes the leaf about 3" wide. You choose the optimal reproduction size.

Day 100 ~ Design Your Own Wallpaper

The future of wallpaper is digital. With the advent of high quality archival on demand printing, why would anyone choose from what is on the shelf. Over the last 100 days I have shown you a large cross section of styles and subject matter.

Is there a problem we can solve with a custom wall covering? What wallpaper does not exist? There is no limit on vision, what's next?

Share your ideas with us. If your concept is chosen, we will involve you in the design process from beginning to end and give you 25% off your first order of the resulting wallpaper. I'll even name it after you, if you like.

This exotic wall covering pattern of burnt sienna and green/yellow polished rock has the feel of stained glass or a Klimpt painting detail.
